I’m Pedro Quidute, a software developer and interface designer based in São Paulo. My work sits between design and engineering. I’m passionate on creating digital products from the ground up — from the first interface sketches to the final implementation in code.
Design has always been part of the way to think. I’m naturally drawn to understanding how things work and how they can be improved. Programming became the tool that allows me to turn ideas into real, working systems.
My main technical background comes from building web apps, RESTful APIs and mobile applications. I have solid experience with Java, especially developing with Spring Boot. Over time, I expanded this foundation to other languages and ecosystems such as Kotlin - for mobile -, and JavaScript - for web development.
What interests me most in programming is its creative potential: Code is the vessel of our digital experiences becoming gradually more immersive.
When writing software, I value clarity above all. Clean architecture, modularization and well-structured systems are central to how I approach development.
Although I enjoy working across the stack, most of my recent work has been focused on front-end and interface implementation, where design and engineering naturally meet.
Design has always been a natural part of my thinking. Since early on I’ve been curious about how things are built and how they could work better. Over time that curiosity evolved into a strong interest in visual systems, identity design and digital interfaces.
Today most of my design work happens in Figma, where I build high-fidelity prototypes and responsive interfaces. My focus is always to balance aesthetics with usability — creating interfaces that feel both intuitive and distinctive.
I pay particular attention to responsiveness and UX, ensuring that interfaces remain clear, functional and visually consistent across different devices. Design is not decoration. It is the process of shaping perception & ideas through experiences.
Here are some of my most notable projects.
